Tshwane Health District chosen to pilot National Health Insurance program

There is a national drive to increase the quality of healthcare services to all South Africans. The Tshwane Health District was selected as one of ten districts to pilot  National Health Insurance (NHI), which will be implemented in three phases over a period of 14 years. The focus of the NHI is to address all systems and challenges with the overall aim of reversing the burden of various medical conditions.
